	North not only reviews financial risk but will look at ways to improve projects through innovation and value adding. The following table shows some examples of our innovation and value adding:

Hippocrates Aged Care	The use of alternative products and minor design rationalisation	North’s highlighted a list of possible cost savings with our tender totalling over $600,000. This was reviewed and extended in consultation with the Architect to eventually provide the client with a list of total savings in excess of $1,200,000.
Avondale Aged Care	The use of alternative products and minor design rationalisation	North’s worked with both the client and architect providing suggestions on the overall buildability and provided pricing on various alternatives to the original design to realise savings in excess of $2,500,000.
Calvary Aged Care, Cessnock	Alternative Framing and Air-Conditioning Solutions	North’s provided and offer with there tender to use an alternative metal frame in lieu of conventional timber frame. Combining this and the alternate Air-Conditioning system proposed provided a saving of $390,000.00
Brisbane Water Private Hospital	Two new operating theatres to be constructed with an 8 week downtime on existing theatres.	North’s offered an alternative design allowing the existing theatres to continue operating until the new theatres were commissioned. This represented a considerable bonus to the client.
St Joseph’s Stages 1&3	Structural Savings	Re-designed suspended slabs and delivered savings in the order of $80,000
Tinonee Gardens	Staging & Temporary administration accommodation.	Delivered a cost saving of $150,000, and a time saving of 19 weeks.
Our Lady of the Rosary Shelly Beach	Overall programme for the project was well outside the clients desired duration.	A time saving of 14 weeks was achieved through a revised staging process for the project.
