North Construction completed the project within the contract duration of 44 weeks. The construction included the removal of existing asbestos, demolition of existing buildings; retention and remedial works associated with the retention of the existing heritage facades. Construction utilised pre-cast concrete and structural steel with high level architectural finishes throughout. During construction, access was severely hampered by an existing open stormwater channel that runs under the building on 2 sides.
